Geomembranes are impermeable materials made by combining a PE film as the base material with geotextile. Their impermeability mainly depends on the PE film. In the application of Dongfang geomembranes, they are a type of polymer chemical flexible material, with low density, high extensibility, strong adaptability to deformation, corrosion resistance, low-temperature resistance, and good frost resistance. Their main mechanism is to use the waterproof property of the plastic film to block water leakage channels in the dam, and to withstand water pressure and accommodate dam deformation through its high tensile strength and elongation.
