product details

The standard name for impermeable geomembrane is polyethylene geomembrane, which is primarily made from milky white, semi-transparent to opaque thermoplastic resin material—polyethylene resin. Polyethylene is a polymer, composed of non-toxic, tasteless, odorless white granules, with a melting point of about 110℃-130℃ and a relative density of 0.918–0.965. It has good heat and cold resistance, excellent chemical stability, high rigidity and toughness, good mechanical strength, resistance to environmental stress cracking, and good tear resistance performance.

Characteristics:
       1. High impermeability—The impermeable membrane has a seepage prevention effect incomparable with ordinary waterproof materials. HDPE impermeable membranes have high tensile strength; their excellent elasticity and deformability make them very suitable for expanding or contracting bases, effectively overcoming uneven settlement of the base. They also show high water vapor permeability.
      2. Chemical stability—The impermeable membrane has excellent chemical stability, widely used in sewage treatment, chemical reaction tanks, and landfills. It is resistant to high and low temperatures, asphalt, oil, tar, and over 80 kinds of strong acids and alkalis.
      3. Aging resistance—The impermeable membrane has outstanding anti-aging, UV resistance, and decomposition resistance, making it suitable for exposed use. The material has a service life of 50–70 years, providing excellent material assurance for environmental impermeability.
     4. Plant root resistance—HDPE impermeable membranes have excellent puncture resistance and can resist most plant roots.
     5. High mechanical strength—The impermeable membrane has good mechanical strength, with tensile strength at break of 28 MPa and elongation at break of 700%.
    6. Low cost and high efficiency—HDPE impermeable membranes use new technology to enhance impermeability. The production process is more scientific and efficient, making the product cost lower than traditional waterproof materials. Actual calculations show that using HDPE impermeable membranes can generally save about 50% of project costs.
    7. Fast construction—The impermeable membrane is highly flexible, available in various specifications and installation methods to meet different engineering impermeability requirements, using hot melt welding with high seam strength, making construction convenient, fast, and safe.
    8. Environmentally friendly and non-toxic—The materials used in the impermeable membrane are all non-toxic and environmentally friendly. The impermeability principle is based on ordinary physical changes, producing no harmful substances, making it the best choice for environmental protection, aquaculture, and drinking water reservoirs.
