After waste is buried in every landfill, people will cover it with layers of soil, thoroughly concealing it with plants, flowers, and trees, integrating it into the surrounding environment, and monitoring the landfill's impact on the natural environment. At the same time, fences and monitoring points are set up around the landfill, and observation wells are established at the monitoring points. Groundwater is regularly extracted for water quality testing to ensure early detection, early treatment, and early prevention of pollution.
Before a landfill begins operation, full preparation is required. From site selection to industrial product design, all factors such as local hydrology and topography must be considered. The landfill and surrounding areas use clay layers and water-resistant floor structures for reinforcement to prevent waste leakage. After using geotextile membranes as the main impermeable layer, due to the properties of the membranes, which are firm and highly durable, they are not easily damaged for many years. Therefore, there is no need to worry about the wastage of soil layers or groundwater pollution.
