The installation of woven geotextiles we generally use is usually done by overlapping, sewing, or welding. When sewing or welding, we must pay attention to the fact that the width is generally above 0.1m, and the overlap width is generally above 0.2m. Long-term exposed woven geotextiles may need to be welded or sewn. Before stacking, the woven geotextiles need to be stacked at least 150mm, and the spacing between small stitches along the edges (exposed material edges) should be at least 25mm.
Any 'missed stitches' on the sewn geotextiles must be resewn in the affected areas. Appropriate measures should be taken to prevent soil, granular materials, or foreign substances from entering the woven geotextile layer after installation. The overlapping of the fabric can be natural, sewn, or welded depending on the terrain and functional requirements.
We must operate according to the above instructions to correctly complete the overlapping work of woven geotextiles, allowing their features to be fully realized. Strength – under the same weight specifications, tensile strength in all directions is higher than other needle-punched nonwoven fabrics. UV resistance – it has extremely high resistance to ultraviolet radiation.
